Today, on the day of the Matricultion Ceremony of Kanazawa University 2025, we confirmed that more than five cherry blossoms had bloomed on the specimen tree on Kakuma Campus.
The Kakuma Campus of Kanazawa University is one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Kanazawa, with approximately 680 cherry trees of 11 varieties, including Someiyoshino and Yamazakura cherry trees. The Kakuma campus was ranked first in Western Japan.
